Can I just vent a little bit about how much I love where I live? It may be clear out in the boonies, but because of it everyone is so friendly. I love my neighbor's and ward and the only thing I regret is not getting to know them sooner. I know I can say I was pretty sick during pregnancy for an excuse, but even then I wish I hadn't secluded myself during that time. I am excited for Halloween here, because unlike at my mom's house, we actually get trick or treaters! It reminds me of a neighborhood you would find back in the 80's where kids actually play outside! We started doing a girls night and games nights so that we can do fun things! I have been really tired and dizzy lately and this cute neighbor named Holly took my kids for me so I could have a nap. It should have been the opposite since SHE is the one pregnant!! Thanks again Holly your an angel~!

Later tonight my Dr. called me back and said that I have sub clinical hyperthyroidism and he doesn't think I need to see a specialist. He said the medicine the thyroid puts out is normal, same with the antibodies, but the TSH level is low. Kelli do you know what this means?! I am going in to figure out why this is going on and why I feel this way.

Geez, I hope you feel better soon. Holly is such a peach! She took Sean the other day so I could take a nap, too. Is there some type of super-neighbor award we could nominate her for?

I would see an endocrinologist. I wouldn't mess with TSH levels. I would have to know what the levels were to give my two cents, but I would seek a second opinion. I am sure the pregnancy threw them off, and he figures they will correct themselves, I would see a specialist, and get on something to make the tsh levels normal again. Your guy is an Ob, I would go see someone who deals with hormones. It is like if the car was broke, why would you take it to a dishwasher repairer. Go to a specialist

Jamie,
I'm so sorry! That is so frustrating. I hope it all works out. I just hate when I go and they list off all these names of things as if I should know them. I totally agree with Kelli on this one.
What a fun neighborhood you live in!
