Yesterday I met my family in SLC. Kelli, Sean, and Anya we missed you. I did my little sisters hair and make up for her "hot date" for a dance. We first met at HIRES BIG H and ate. It was nice to see my family. I am really going to miss my brother's family. They are moving at the end of May to Indiana for Residency. They will be gone for six years. They just had their first child in Dec. It was really nice to just see my family. Ever since my brother Scott came home, he realized how much he doesn't see me like he used to. I wish I could see them all more. Anyways, while there they had the best ice in my drink. I thought of you Holly. You would LOVE it. While there Hannah told Austin to show Erin what I had taught him. He starts sticking out his tongue and banging his head with his hands. What he was really supposed to show, is he can now roll his tongue three times. Way to go son! lol The time went by way too fast . Erin you will have to send me some pictures and let me know how it went!

Last night for Relief Society I went to "Women at the Well." It was a really good performance and I don't know why, but I lost it. We first met in the R.S room and sang " I believe in Christ" The last verse got me. Then we headed into the sacrament room and some ladies were dressed up and sang songs, with a slide show of Christ behind them. The first solo, this lady got up and started singing. I was dead center to the pulpit and it looked like she kept looking at me until the tears just came running down my face. She then looked away and started to choke up. Every time she looked at me she started crying. or so it seemed. You know when life can be hard and you just have to let it all out, well last night it all came out. Sitting by other women who were crying didn't help either. It made me realize that being a wife and mother makes me feel like I am a cornerstone for my family, I feel like I am lifting them up and it is baring down sometimes. I can't lift the weight. I realize that I am not alone in feeling this way, and Christ is there for us. Then this girl gets up in white and starts singing about her dying. It reminded me of my sister Chelsea. I couldn't hold it in, a girl next to me gave me a Kleenex and I couldn't even say thanks because I was trying so hard to not cry! It was really good and has been a long time since I have been to something like that. It was much needed!

There is nothing like an accomplishment. However, I find my accomplishments in having a clean house and then to find it get destroyed by the next day. I need to find an accomplishment that stays accomplished. I think I have turned into my mom *which is a good thing* when it comes to cleaning. I remember doing my chores and she would come in with a toothbrush and see things the naked eye couldn't! When I moved away from home I was always so busy and housework was the last thing on my mind. however, my type of cleaning used to be to let it get so messy then clean it all up. My roommate Crystal could attest to that one. I am not a great organizer but I am a deep cleaner. You may find clutter all around but if you look close hopefully there isn't dust and spaghetti sauce still on the wall from the kids. Today I accomplished a clean house. I love the smells of my banana nut bread candle and fresh baked cookies from the oven.I love the sounds of Hannah and Austin playing with their friends. I can then sit and enjoy a good book. The book I am reading now is a friend of mine about a girl who is a ghost! I absolutely love it! Then if I am lucky, while rocking faith to sleep I can watch my shows. Lately, Trent and I have decided to start watching Desperate Housewives. I used to make fun of my brother and sister in law because they had to be home every Sunday in order to watch it. It sounded stupid. Then everyone kept telling me good it was. After my friend Holly told me they like it I decided to take it up. We enjoy watching it. I find myself in some of the characters, and in others I find myself glad I am not like them, or some I need to be more like. The other show I am watching Is "Grey's Anatomy" I told myself I would never watch such sleaze.... Today during an episode there was a train wreck and two people were stuck together by a rod. In order to save one person, they had to take one off the rod which would leave to death. My hormones must be whacked out because I got teary eyed! All in all , it was a good day!

I decided it was time for some change. I cut my hair and dyed it even darker. It is hard to tell from these pictures because it was on my phone but here it is.

My friend camille had a great idea on how to dress her naked barbies. I don't know about your house, but I think we have more barbies then clothes. So in order to keep them modest * and so I don't have to keep reminding the kids to put clothes on them* I colored them with permanent marker.

Last night at Angie's house we played a game called "LIPS" if you like rock band with the singing, you will love this game! Trent said he saw it and you can get strobe light and fog machine with it. Angie also had the strobe light and fog machine (At least I think the ones they had came with the game) It made you want to dance! This game lets two people sing at the same time so it is a little like karaoke but you are competing against each other! It was real fun thanks Angie!

Today while I was cleaning Austin and Faith were playing so well together. Or so I thought! I turn around and Faith looks like she is bleeding out of her mouth!!! I pick her up and see that Austin had given her a marker to suck on! I call poison control but luckily the washable markers aren't poison. The guy on the phone asked if it was a good color for her. LoL. It was RED and can't come off. Nice thing I have to take her to get her shots today, the dr is going to think what a horrible mother I am! This picture is after I have tried to clean it off. The stain remains LOL

This weekend we decided to take a trip with some friends to St.George. On the way down it was snowing hard in the mountain passes. Our car could barley make it up the hills!! We got to St.George at 1am On Saturday we went to the St.George Temple's visitor center. While driving in town I couldn't believe how many people that are there now. When I was there 8 years ago it sure didn't seem so crowded! All the fun places that we hung out are now closed down. It was kind of sad to see. In the visitor center there used to be a red rock and star room. I guess Pres. Hinkley told them that while it looked cool there really wasn't anything teachable to it. They instead put in a couple little rooms that you go in and watch about families and such. It was good! After the Visitor Center we went and saw Brigham Young's house. Austin got out of the car and went straight for the front door. The elderly missionary told him not to go knocking on Brigham's door because no one was home. He opened it and the missionary told us it was supposed to be locked. Austin is such a little rascal! I swear the people back then used to be smaller. The chairs and door ways seemed to be small. We then headed to Costco. Holly was craving her favorite Costco Cake and while we were there we were trying samples. I went to grab a sample and the little old lady smacked my hand LOL. I looked at Holly and the lady said " you know better" Which I didn't because I never go to Costco. I guess you can't take the sample until they put it on the FRONT tray. It was on the BACK tray. woops. Live and Learn right? That night we went to Chilli's for dinner. There was this chubby little girl who reminded me so much of Faith it was cute. Trent had to give me a hard time for ordering a child's blue Slurpee drink. It didn't taste as good as I thought it would and ended up giving it to Alina. I guess Alina was saying "Jamie, can I have some" I could barley hear her though. After Chilli's we rented some movies then we went and played murder in the dark. My in laws bought two snuggles *they are actually kinda cool* and Cameron hide in one and we couldn't find him. I guess he won. We watched some movies we rented ( I think we were all tired because we all went to bed except Cameron who stayed up for the whole thing) On Sunday we didn't realize that it was daylight savings time. That took an hour away from our trip! We played a little golf game that Trent's dad has and some board games. Trent made us some bbq chicken. We roasted some marshmallow's and just sat and talked. The kids loved the playroom and played so well together. On Monday Trent decided it would be so funny to throw cake in my face since we didn't at our reception. He ended up just punching my nose pretty much lol. after we cleaned up we headed out to Neilson's Frozen Custard and to the Dinosaur tracks. The way home was a lot easier then the way down. We ordered some pizza and watched The Ringer. It was a great little get away and I do wish we hadn't been so tired and that we were still in the warm weather!
This last weekend was my 7th anniversary! My baby also turned 7 months old that day. I can't believe how fast time goes by. Life is only for a moment. I am so thankful that I married such an amazing man! He truly is my best friend and is such a strength in my life, even when he doesn't think so. I love so much about him. Here are 7 reasons what I love most about him.

#1- When I met Trent he was such a caring man. He cares for anyone he comes into contact with. He is a great host and an example of how we should treat others. I felt like I was around my family from home when I was around him and his family. During my stay at Dixie, my roommates and I ran into a con-artist. Something about Trent allowed me to feel like I could trust him and that he was sincere. I thought we would be such great buds, but so glad we became eternal companions!

#2- I love that even though we got married after 7 months of knowing each other we truly know more about each other then most couples know about themselves. Every couple has their own ups and downs, but I love Trent more for the ups and downs we have because we grow even closer then I knew was possible. Many times I hear couples say how hard marriage is and how hard they have to work at it for. Maybe if they put the other one first marriage would become a lot easier. Marriage for us has never been really hard. yes we have had some hard trials along the way but it only made it better, and during it we weren't at each other's necks. We had our arms wrapped around each other getting through it together. What would marriage be if your always fighting all the time? Someone once asked us what our worst fight was. We both could only think of one....A couple months after being married, chasing each other around the house to eat the last dilly bar from dairy queen. We aren't perfect but Trent makes my marriage feel pretty darn close to it!Thanks to the trials and the blessings that came from each one of them. I am so thankful for the trials that come in our lives. We tell each other everything, even things other couples wouldn't dare to say to their spouse. I am so thankful for that very open communication that we have because that is truly what makes this marriage unique and what will help us gain a better love for each other, when we know both our strengths and weakness. I am not saying we are perfect, we just know that whatever comes our way the other person isn't going anywhere. Through the thick and thin we have already been through tells me nothing can beat us down.

#3- I love how Trent is such a hard worker. That man never ceases to amaze me. I remember being first married and when things were broken I thought we would just have to call someone to come fix it. Lo and Behold Trent could do it! He is a very handy man and I love that he really works hard for everything.

#4- I love what a good father Trent is. I am used to little kids because I was the 3rd out of 7. I loved babysitting and working with children. I guess I just assume everyone knows how to take care of kids. Trent is the 6th out of 8 so it has been fun to see the difference and show him things will be ok. I love how he used to push Hannah in her swing in our old house. He loved taking her outside and having some daddy and me time. I love how he takes Austin with him for side jobs. He tells Austin to go find his work shirt *A little shirt that looks like Trent's and Austin swears it is HIS work shirt* Trent will take him for some breakfast on the way. I love how he makes me laugh so hard when Faith poops all over his arm and shirt and his face goes green!

#5 I love what a great companion he is and how well he knows me. He knows when something is bothering me. We will be driving in the car and he tells me that I need to lay on his shoulder and just let it all out. He really is a shoulder to cry on. He will make me laugh while I am crying. I love watching movies with Trent and we just bust out a gutful laugh and can't stop. All we have to do is look at each other and the laughter comes back until we have tears in our eyes.

#6- I love how Trent loves me even though I am far from perfect. I love that we both have weakness's to help each other up when we need it most. I feel like we are on this path together and we are arm in arm, ready to help the other one up so they can't fall. If they do fall we get on our hands and knees to help them up again. TO me that is what marriage is about. It isn't about arguing, fighting, getting our own needs met. To me it is about having a helping hand, a best friend, lover, to help on our way through life. You love the person who hurts you and that person loves you when you hurt them. You work through things through thick and thin and as long as you put the other person first and try to meet THEIR needs first you will always have a great marriage.

#7- I love Trent for making me the woman I am today. Throughout my childhood and teenage years I have ran into friends and family who have helped molded who I am. I am ever grateful for that. But I love the person I am because when I am with Trent he has helped me see my potential and embraces it. I love you Trent with all my heart. People say the 7 years is the hardest, if you can make it you will be ok *7 year itch* however if that's the case we have nothing to worry because no matter what comes our way, even if it's death, we will have it made together forever.

My sister and I have our new blog up! From now on I am going to post my tips, craft ideas, or fun cute things I see on there instead of here.

http://thejunkboxes.blogspot.com/

Faith will be 7 months old on my 7th anniversary!! She is getting so big! She loves to eat bananas, carrots, potatoes & beans. She loves to blow raspberry's and is learning to army crawl! She still doesn't have any teeth but she loves to bite! She will pick up her blanket with her gums. Trent calls her his "gummy bear" because she is always gummin' a smile! She loves to play spider and laughs so much. As of yesterday she likes to pull her diaper off. This happened twice. She gets so excited she kicks her chunky little legs! She loves to get in the tub and play with the water as it comes out of the faucet. She is such a joy to our family. She loves her siblings and gets very excited when they come to play with her. She doesn't like being carried around by Hannah too much anymore. I think that is because she is getting too heavy for Hannah to handle. She also loves Austin. One time however, Austin hit her because "she pulled my hair" and she had the saddest face. I tried to make him give her a hug and she had the sad little lip and was scared of him. That didn't last long after he gave her a hug and said he was sorry. She loves to make little noises with her mouth. She is a really good baby, and only really fussy when she wants me to nurse her and go to sleep in my bed! I am trying to change that!

"So, here's the deal, be the first 5 people to comment on this post, and you will get a lil' somethin', somethin' from ME!! =) The catch is this, YOU must now blog about this, and volunteer to give things to your first 5 commenters! It can be ANYTHING, nothin' expensive! A pay it forward game, fun huh? "
If you didn't catch that...recap...1. Be one of the first five people to respond to this post and you get a present, if that is what you want to call it, from me!2. Re-post this on YOUR page for five of your friends! It's like a chain letter, only without the threats -AND- not annoying because you GET a present in the end.3. AND hopefully one of my friends will do this, and I will get to comment and get a prize back. ;) 4. Oh, and make sure you leave your e-mail address!Good luck!
My sister in law Sheryl came up with this brilliant idea, and while I love playing it on her blog and getting to know her friends I thought it would also be fun to play it here to get to know mine a little better. Hope you don't care Sheryl ( I keep checking your blog but since your computer is down ....) What you do is Someone asks a question and you answer it in the comments. You then come up with any question you want, whoever sees it first gets to answer it. I will start:

Who did you think you would marry when you were younger?

Door Do Overs

I wish I had a door that looked like this:

Or something cute, because then I would do this idea that I LOVE!! I love the three wreaths on the door!! Thanks to "Livin life Patino style" she had this cute idea!!

I have seen people painting their doors, but my house is blue so what could really go with it besides white? I was thinking if I paint my door I could do the vinyl:
