Yesterday I noticed a man parked by the park. I sat and watched him get out and walk over to my neighbors houses. He then went and sat back in. I wouldn't have thought of anything but the other day one of my friends was saying how there has been some weird cars parked and the cops were called. After I while I thought I should call the cops but he left. Come to find out later, I should have because it would have been hilarious, because he was an undercover cop. LOL

I don't know why I am loosing weight. When I nursed my other kids I gained weight and couldn't loose it. My sister said she had the same problem. So why now after #3 am I? I don't know nor will I care why!! The other day my friend Holly was noticing how sad & baggy my pants were. She told me to try on some of hers. I told her there was NO Way I would ever be able to fit in pants like that. She brought some other ones over and I still thought there was no way I would fit in it. Surprisingly enough I did!! I was so excited. Every morning I get on the scale and watch it keep going down, this is the first time I have weighed this since high school. Now if I loose 20 more pounds I will be where I was when I was in college. However, maybe I should be worried because I am eating sugar, feeling like I have a bladder of a pregnant woman and not gaining anything. I need to slow down because my dr said I was borderline diabetic and that could be sign of diabetes. Hopefully it's just the nursing, and at this point I am not going to worry about it, look at my daughter.... I just think she is sucking the fat right out of me. If this is so she will be nursing until she has to go to school!! Jk

My family went to the Draper Open House. My kids did really well and asked questions. It was even fun to be able to answer my siblings questions as well.
It was fun to see the symbolism of things and see the beauty of the temple. I thought the inside looked very contemporary considering it is a temple, but the beauty of it was amazing. The wood was from Africa and was awesome. I really enjoyed the beauty of the paintings. There was a new one I have never seen before of Christ and Mary outside the tomb. The colors that the artist used were deep ! I loved it. I am glad I was able to take my kids to teach them about the temple. Every night I sing " I love to see the temple" TO my kids, and they sure were glad to be able to experience first hand.

Come What May and Love it!

I love this quote, it is my new motto! I used to tell my friend when problems would arise, "What do you have to lose? nothing that you don't already have." Sometimes it drove her crazy!! If only I would follow my own golden advice more often, to take each day a day at a time and try not to stress. We had a Relief Society Lesson on this and I really enjoyed a quote she had up that said, " God doesn't give you things you can handle, he helps you handle the things that are given" That makes more sense to me. I just feel like in this life there is too much to be done but we get caught up in little things that can bring us down. If we live each day as if it is our last how different would we treat people? Our kids? our husband? The person we see helpless? This is the EXACT reason I loved visiting nursing homes, they are so humble and full of happiness even though their days are limited. What great examples. This life is about learning and the biggest way to learn is through our trials, no matter how big or small they may seem. During this hard time with the economy I am sure many people are struggling. We lose sight of what we are supposed to be doing when we stress. I say bring it on and "Come what may and love it" because why waste your time and worry about what will happen tomorrow? In my experience "Things happen when you make other plans!"
This blog is going private Send me your BLOG email address or facebook it to me.
Some cute things Austin has said this past week:

While at my mom's house on Sat. my mom was trying to stop him from putting his hand in the toilet *Don't know where he gets this from* and he started singing to her "If your happy and you know it stick your finger in the toilet" Lyndee you may want to watch out and NOT ask him to come up with "If your happy and you know it" ideas during primary you may regret it later. Just a heads up! lol

Hannah had a bad dream and told her uncle " I hate monsters and Satan. I always want to be with Jesus."

I need to apologize to everyone in the ward who got their feelings hurt with the ward video pictures. My intentions were not to hurt, infact it was quite the opposite. I wanted to make sure everyone in the ward was able to be in the video and not feel left out. I made it the same day the party was and had asked for some permissions to take pictures, others I just took. I had no idea that they would have been hurt that I took them to put them in the video. That was wrong on my part for assuming. The video is gone and again I apologize to those who are hurt.

The Sat. before Valentines we went to a ward dance! It was really fun!! Here is the video I made for it with some fun music.

After being sick with Strep for a week, Valentines was a nice break! I heart attacked the kids in their sleep, *which at the time I thought was a lovely idea* until Austin woke up at 2:00 a.m wondering what all the crumpling sound was under him. We then made pink heart shapped pancackes! We wanted to just take it easy that day. We went to Smiths to get some food for that night. While we were there I had Faith and Austin with me. We went to check out the 50% off valentine stuff. I put Faith in the front of the cart without her car seat! She loved it. Well about 20 minutes go by and I am wondering where the heck Trent and Hannah are. I go down each Isle looking for them. I then thought I saw Hannah poke her little head out at the end of one isle. I hurried to where I thought I saw her and she was no where to be found! I finally find them in the check out line and thought what a punk for not coming to get me! I go into the check out line next to them and I hear Hannah scream to Trent " Dad!!! There she is!!!" I ignored them and when I finished with the purchase turned around expecting them ready to go. Of course they are no where to be found.. once again!! I start heading to the car and I see Hannah and Trent with this big huge grin asking If I found everything I needed. I looked in my bag seeing my M & M's that I grabbed in a hurry and because they were 50% off and realized they were pretty much all red!! * I can't eat the red m &M's* so I told them yes, but by seeing their cheesy grins I knew EXACTLY what they had been up to. They go back into the store to finish their real shopping and I took the other kids to the car. There on my seat was some flowers. I thanked Trent for making me laugh. It wasn't about the flowers *they were the most beautiful half dead flowers I have ever seen* but for the love that he took the time with Hannah and let her chose them for me. I love smiling and seeing his cheesy grin when I know that something is up. Later that night we rented a movie and watched it with some friends. Of course every time a movie pops on, I go straight to sleep. It was nice falling to sleep to uncontrollable laughter, those are the moments that really matter :)

For those of you coming to Scott's Homecoming tomorrow, I -15 will be closed in the following spot. Use alt. route
UDOT to close I-15 for Bridge Demolition Work

UDOT will demolish the 1100 North bridge over Interstate 15, marking the first major undertaking for the ExpressLink project. The project limits span from 500 North in northern Salt Lake City to the I-215 ramp in Davis County. The project will add express lanes in each direction to increase mobility and safety throughout this congested area and is scheduled to be completed Fall 2010.

What: Temporary I-15 closure between Interstate 80 and Interstate 215

When: Feb. 14 at 11 p.m. until Feb. 15 at 11 a.m.*

Why: Bridges at Beck Street, U.S. 89, 1100 North and 800 North must be replaced to accommodate the new width of the freeway. A new bridge at 1100 North will replace the bridges at 800 North and 1100 North. The new bridge will provide a new on-ramp to northbound I-15 and east-west mobility from 900 West to Warm Springs Road.

Alternative Routes:
For Interstate Travelers - During the closure motorists traveling southbound on I-15 may use I-215 to I-80 to I-15. Motorists traveling into Davis County on I-15 are advised to use I-80 to I-215 to Legacy Parkway or I-15.

For Area Residents - Starting now until bridge construction is complete in late 2009, take southbound 900 West to eastbound 600 North to access I-15.

How: UDOT will utilize accelerated bridge construction methods to reduce the construction impacts and delays to area residents and the traveling public. Crews will construct the bridge on-site and lower it into place.

My favorite ventriloquist~!

He came to Utah last year and I would love to see his act. Here is another person I would love to see: (Kevin James)

More ideas:

1. I Pod- Look how fun~
"A box of conversation hearts and two mini peanut butter cups in disguise hit all the right notes for a tune-loving babysitter or pal. The idea comes from Grand Island, Nebraska, mom Lisa Toner, whose daughters, Anna, 14, and Maria, 10, wanted a new way to tell friends, "You rock." "Valentines can seem babyish to older kids," explains Lisa. "They really need something cool."

I have been really sick this week and I asked Trent why it feels like I get sicker at night. I am not sure if he just made up his answer to keep me quiet so he could watch his new favorite show "Heroes" or not, but he said "Because the sun gives us strength and when it's gone we get sicker" but what really hit me was how his answer was very symbolic without him even realizing it. The SON really is our strength, without him our life IS full of darkness, pain. and torment. I am so glad that I have a good "family ward" and friends that help me and care for my family and I. I am so glad that we have made the effort to have friends in our life because without them life can be dull. Not living so close to my mom anymore, it's nice to know that there really are "Angels among us" when we need them most.

I am so excited for my brother to come home from his mission!! We became friends on March 12, 2005! Funny how I know the date huh. Well lets just say Scott and I used to fight a lot. One time he was beating the crap out of me when I was 18 and my brother in law had to pry him off me. *thanks Trent!* I remember one day he was arguing with my mom about a mission. I told him to just stop because no matter what he said it would just make my mom even more frustrated and they wouldn't be getting anywhere. He went down to his room and slammed the door. I came in and told him to come with me to a wedding reception. He told me to get out. I told him that he had two choices, he could get out of the house and come with me or stay home with mom. Needless to say he decided to come with me. I am so glad he did. We became instant friends and I always knew that he would go on a mission but he had to see the person I saw in him first. Scott is so funny and very good at history. It was hard to see him leave but I knew it was for the best!! we became really close before he left. He said I became cool, I told him that I always was and it was just him that changed Lol. Scott your little picture has been on my fridge for the last two years. My kids are so excited to see you and my little Austin aka "Dennis the Menace" is ready to jump all over you!! I am so proud of you and the years ahead of you are going to be the best! Your life is just beginning and I am so excited to see you again!! Love ya, and see you Thursday!

On Sunday we went to my brother Chad's for the last half of the Superbowl. It was nice to see everyone ! My mom, siblings, and I put a poster together for my brother coming home. Austin sat by Chad and just watched the last half of the game. He said he liked football because they got to run each other over. I forgot what else he said but I am sure my sister remembers.

Last week a friend asked if I wanted to go up to Layton to a shoe party. I thought it would be fun but I had too much to do so I told her I would think about it. I called her back and told her I wanted to go. It just so happened to be the same shoe party my sister was going to in her neighborhood. Then I went over to help her make these utensil holders for a table she had to set up at a stake party. You did great Camille! We saw an idea of the sort at Pioneer Party in Lehi and I must say I like it there!!!

Last Thursday Hilary, Rosie, and Jenny all took our kids to the Lehi pool. I didn't think my kids would like it too much where they splash the water. Boy was I wrong. They had so much fun splashing and playing! It was probably because we were the only ones there. We need to do more play dates like that!!

Wow I haven't blogged for ages it seemed!! The last couple of months have been hectic and so much fun. We have been busy playing games, going to party's, and just hanging out! I love being busy because my day seems like I have accomplished things! We have met and are still meeting amazing people. I LOVE it out here!! I have seen some words on people's facebook that describes this neighborhood "Humble, step ford, and celestial" It reminds me of a neighborhood you would find in the 80's where everyone is so loving and ready to help another. I wouldn't mind living here forever as long as we have the same people we do now. My kids love it, and I love it. You can actually see the stars and some wildlife out here!

Austin just turned 4!!! I can't believe how fast time flies. I went for a play date with my friend and watching her two little kids reminded me of how it was right before my brother went on his mission. Now my kids are so big!! For Austin's birthday we did a fast throw together superhero party. The kids put on capes and came into the bat cave. We played pin the "S" on superman. We also played "Mr. Freeze" with the music and Joker hid the kids candy bags so we had to go around and find them. I have been reading a new parenting book of how we need to tell the children consequences before they do the act. For instance " Hannah if you make your bed every I will read you a book" (pos. reinforcement) or "Austin if you throw spiderman at your sister one more time you are not going to get a cookie for dessert" I must say it is working. My little humble baby boy has turned into "Dennis the Menace" so my sister says. I think she is just happy that now I get to see how hard it is to raise a boy. lol. So on Austin's birthday I told him not to eat the cupcakes or we wouldn't have enough for everyone. Lo and Behold I went downstairs to find "Batman" (he had his cape on) with a big fat chocolate face and mouthful of cupcake sitting in the "bat cave" I didn't want to get mad at him because it looked cute, but at the same time we didn't have enough cupcakes!! We were going to eat Superman ice cream but he ate all of that the week before too. Oh well it was his party!! My family came down to celebrate his birthday and we had soup that tasted homemade and it was really fun to just get together.
