After being sick with Strep for a week, Valentines was a nice break! I heart attacked the kids in their sleep, *which at the time I thought was a lovely idea* until Austin woke up at 2:00 a.m wondering what all the crumpling sound was under him. We then made pink heart shapped pancackes! We wanted to just take it easy that day. We went to Smiths to get some food for that night. While we were there I had Faith and Austin with me. We went to check out the 50% off valentine stuff. I put Faith in the front of the cart without her car seat! She loved it. Well about 20 minutes go by and I am wondering where the heck Trent and Hannah are. I go down each Isle looking for them. I then thought I saw Hannah poke her little head out at the end of one isle. I hurried to where I thought I saw her and she was no where to be found! I finally find them in the check out line and thought what a punk for not coming to get me! I go into the check out line next to them and I hear Hannah scream to Trent " Dad!!! There she is!!!" I ignored them and when I finished with the purchase turned around expecting them ready to go. Of course they are no where to be found.. once again!! I start heading to the car and I see Hannah and Trent with this big huge grin asking If I found everything I needed. I looked in my bag seeing my M & M's that I grabbed in a hurry and because they were 50% off and realized they were pretty much all red!! * I can't eat the red m &M's* so I told them yes, but by seeing their cheesy grins I knew EXACTLY what they had been up to. They go back into the store to finish their real shopping and I took the other kids to the car. There on my seat was some flowers. I thanked Trent for making me laugh. It wasn't about the flowers *they were the most beautiful half dead flowers I have ever seen* but for the love that he took the time with Hannah and let her chose them for me. I love smiling and seeing his cheesy grin when I know that something is up. Later that night we rented a movie and watched it with some friends. Of course every time a movie pops on, I go straight to sleep. It was nice falling to sleep to uncontrollable laughter, those are the moments that really matter :)

For those of you coming to Scott's Homecoming tomorrow, I -15 will be closed in the following spot. Use alt. route
UDOT to close I-15 for Bridge Demolition Work

UDOT will demolish the 1100 North bridge over Interstate 15, marking the first major undertaking for the ExpressLink project. The project limits span from 500 North in northern Salt Lake City to the I-215 ramp in Davis County. The project will add express lanes in each direction to increase mobility and safety throughout this congested area and is scheduled to be completed Fall 2010.

What: Temporary I-15 closure between Interstate 80 and Interstate 215

When: Feb. 14 at 11 p.m. until Feb. 15 at 11 a.m.*

Why: Bridges at Beck Street, U.S. 89, 1100 North and 800 North must be replaced to accommodate the new width of the freeway. A new bridge at 1100 North will replace the bridges at 800 North and 1100 North. The new bridge will provide a new on-ramp to northbound I-15 and east-west mobility from 900 West to Warm Springs Road.

Alternative Routes:
For Interstate Travelers - During the closure motorists traveling southbound on I-15 may use I-215 to I-80 to I-15. Motorists traveling into Davis County on I-15 are advised to use I-80 to I-215 to Legacy Parkway or I-15.

For Area Residents - Starting now until bridge construction is complete in late 2009, take southbound 900 West to eastbound 600 North to access I-15.

How: UDOT will utilize accelerated bridge construction methods to reduce the construction impacts and delays to area residents and the traveling public. Crews will construct the bridge on-site and lower it into place.

My favorite ventriloquist~!

He came to Utah last year and I would love to see his act. Here is another person I would love to see: (Kevin James)

More ideas:

1. I Pod- Look how fun~
"A box of conversation hearts and two mini peanut butter cups in disguise hit all the right notes for a tune-loving babysitter or pal. The idea comes from Grand Island, Nebraska, mom Lisa Toner, whose daughters, Anna, 14, and Maria, 10, wanted a new way to tell friends, "You rock." "Valentines can seem babyish to older kids," explains Lisa. "They really need something cool."

I have been really sick this week and I asked Trent why it feels like I get sicker at night. I am not sure if he just made up his answer to keep me quiet so he could watch his new favorite show "Heroes" or not, but he said "Because the sun gives us strength and when it's gone we get sicker" but what really hit me was how his answer was very symbolic without him even realizing it. The SON really is our strength, without him our life IS full of darkness, pain. and torment. I am so glad that I have a good "family ward" and friends that help me and care for my family and I. I am so glad that we have made the effort to have friends in our life because without them life can be dull. Not living so close to my mom anymore, it's nice to know that there really are "Angels among us" when we need them most.

I am so excited for my brother to come home from his mission!! We became friends on March 12, 2005! Funny how I know the date huh. Well lets just say Scott and I used to fight a lot. One time he was beating the crap out of me when I was 18 and my brother in law had to pry him off me. *thanks Trent!* I remember one day he was arguing with my mom about a mission. I told him to just stop because no matter what he said it would just make my mom even more frustrated and they wouldn't be getting anywhere. He went down to his room and slammed the door. I came in and told him to come with me to a wedding reception. He told me to get out. I told him that he had two choices, he could get out of the house and come with me or stay home with mom. Needless to say he decided to come with me. I am so glad he did. We became instant friends and I always knew that he would go on a mission but he had to see the person I saw in him first. Scott is so funny and very good at history. It was hard to see him leave but I knew it was for the best!! we became really close before he left. He said I became cool, I told him that I always was and it was just him that changed Lol. Scott your little picture has been on my fridge for the last two years. My kids are so excited to see you and my little Austin aka "Dennis the Menace" is ready to jump all over you!! I am so proud of you and the years ahead of you are going to be the best! Your life is just beginning and I am so excited to see you again!! Love ya, and see you Thursday!

On Sunday we went to my brother Chad's for the last half of the Superbowl. It was nice to see everyone ! My mom, siblings, and I put a poster together for my brother coming home. Austin sat by Chad and just watched the last half of the game. He said he liked football because they got to run each other over. I forgot what else he said but I am sure my sister remembers.

Last week a friend asked if I wanted to go up to Layton to a shoe party. I thought it would be fun but I had too much to do so I told her I would think about it. I called her back and told her I wanted to go. It just so happened to be the same shoe party my sister was going to in her neighborhood. Then I went over to help her make these utensil holders for a table she had to set up at a stake party. You did great Camille! We saw an idea of the sort at Pioneer Party in Lehi and I must say I like it there!!!

Last Thursday Hilary, Rosie, and Jenny all took our kids to the Lehi pool. I didn't think my kids would like it too much where they splash the water. Boy was I wrong. They had so much fun splashing and playing! It was probably because we were the only ones there. We need to do more play dates like that!!

Wow I haven't blogged for ages it seemed!! The last couple of months have been hectic and so much fun. We have been busy playing games, going to party's, and just hanging out! I love being busy because my day seems like I have accomplished things! We have met and are still meeting amazing people. I LOVE it out here!! I have seen some words on people's facebook that describes this neighborhood "Humble, step ford, and celestial" It reminds me of a neighborhood you would find in the 80's where everyone is so loving and ready to help another. I wouldn't mind living here forever as long as we have the same people we do now. My kids love it, and I love it. You can actually see the stars and some wildlife out here!

Austin just turned 4!!! I can't believe how fast time flies. I went for a play date with my friend and watching her two little kids reminded me of how it was right before my brother went on his mission. Now my kids are so big!! For Austin's birthday we did a fast throw together superhero party. The kids put on capes and came into the bat cave. We played pin the "S" on superman. We also played "Mr. Freeze" with the music and Joker hid the kids candy bags so we had to go around and find them. I have been reading a new parenting book of how we need to tell the children consequences before they do the act. For instance " Hannah if you make your bed every I will read you a book" (pos. reinforcement) or "Austin if you throw spiderman at your sister one more time you are not going to get a cookie for dessert" I must say it is working. My little humble baby boy has turned into "Dennis the Menace" so my sister says. I think she is just happy that now I get to see how hard it is to raise a boy. lol. So on Austin's birthday I told him not to eat the cupcakes or we wouldn't have enough for everyone. Lo and Behold I went downstairs to find "Batman" (he had his cape on) with a big fat chocolate face and mouthful of cupcake sitting in the "bat cave" I didn't want to get mad at him because it looked cute, but at the same time we didn't have enough cupcakes!! We were going to eat Superman ice cream but he ate all of that the week before too. Oh well it was his party!! My family came down to celebrate his birthday and we had soup that tasted homemade and it was really fun to just get together.

Children of God

What a great lesson we had on Martin Luther King day for FHE. We talked about how everyone is a child of God. Hannah said bad guys were not children of God and Austin said he would kick the bad guys. I had to tell them that I am still their mom even if they decide to disobey or hurt their siblings. Their choices are THEIR'S, not mine and it doesn't change the fact I am still their mom. It makes me sad to see them disobey. I think they finally understood that even bad guys are children of God. Then I decided to show them a picture of mixed races of children. I asked Austin " Is she a child of God? Is he a child of God?" and sadly he said only the white kids where children of God. It really surprised me because I am FAR from racist. I always thought I would marry someone who was Hispanic. I am not sure why I thought that but I had met some really hot guys and always got a rise out of people when I said I could see myself with them. Anyways back to the reason I am writing this, I had to explain to Austin that it didn't matter what color of skin we had that we are ALL Children of God. I have some friends who are African American and I told him about this girl I talk to on here. He wasn't being rude about the skin color he just kept shaking his head "no". I sat for about five minutes explaining that God loves ALL Of us. I then asked again, " Is he a child of God? IS she a child of God?" and finally he said yes to all of them. It really made me think how many children think that? Where do they get it from? IT made my heart sink when he thought that way. I have been watching the tv and seeing people of all races excited for history in the making. Whether or not you agree on Obama, it is a day that will be in history books!! I am glad that even simple FHE lessons can teach our children the right way, when for some odd reason they thought differently. IT reminded me of Oprah. She had an experiment to ask African American's what doll was pretty: A white doll, or a black doll. They all said a white doll was the pretty one. How sad is that?? For Hannah's birthday she picked out a black little baby doll and loves it. She named her "Snow White" You guys should ask your children the same thing and see what they do. If your child answers the same way mine did, please know your not a bad parent or racist. That is why we are parents to "Teach me all that I must do, to live with him someday." Hannah used to sing it this way " I am a child of God, and he has sent me here. Has given me an earthly home with PARENTS KIND OF DEAR" instead of Kind and dear. LOL

No Fear...

The last couple of days I have had a gloomy feeling. I hate feeling worried, stressed, or afraid. I guess you can say the world has me down. Worry and stress of problems that I can't fix. I need to have my house a haven and not let the worries of the world seep in. I am worried about the economy to people being killed from abroad. Today I was in a little shop and saw a quote about how we shouldn't be afraid. The path ahead is paved and to not be discouraged but to exercise faith. I think that sign was for me. There is so much we can all worry about, but when the day is done we will only look back in regret instead of making the best of what we have. Trent and I were talking and he told me that if we were able to see the trials we would endure in this life, (like the book we read did)that I am sure we would still have jumped to come here to make it back. Even the people who have been through torture through the Holocaust and so on, I wonder if we did see little clips of our lives. It's the unimaginable to have to go through, but what I think would be even harder is to see the ones we love go through any type of pain. It hurts to go through hardships ourselves, but to see another is heartbreaking. I like to look at this life as if we are at war spiritually. How many of us will jump in the trenches to help another wounded brother or sister? Get in the hardship of helping another and not just worrying about ourselves? Today was so nice to take a break and just go do something for me. I went window shopping by myself and saw a some wall sayings. I love wall sayings! I want to put one in my room above the bed and paint the back wall and put a mirror up. However, the only saying they had was "Simple pleasures make life's treasures." Yeah that won't work for my bedroom.

Wow these months have gone by so fast! Faith is already five months old!!! I couldn't wait for it to be August last year because I was so sick, once August came around it flew by!! I have had a wonderful last couple months with watching Faith grow up way too fast, enjoying friends, and becoming more social now that I feel better!! I sometimes think I wished away my pregnancy, but I remind myself if I was that sick now I would have done the same thing exactly the way I did. Anyways, we have had a busy time in our lives. Faith loves to make this screaming noise when I put her down, she is getting spoiled. We went to the aquarium with my family. The kids loved it and kept saying the clown fish was Nemo. Faith just watched the fish and couldn't keep her eyes off of them. There was one fish that would follow your finger and Austin loved that!! I scared the pants off of Erin as she reached in to touch the sting ray. It was pretty cool to see and the kids enjoyed it! On new years we had a get together at our house and played games like Mafia. It was really fun. I have new callings in my ward: Enrichment, Activities, and one more thing but I haven't been announced to it yet so I will tell you later. If you have any cool ideas for those let me know. That is my life in a nutshell

Austin-
Today he has made me laugh a couple times. First during preschool he was playing a game with my 11 year old brother Ryan. They were putting rhyming pictures together. Ryan put the picture of a Car next to a picture of a Star. Austin kept getting mad at him for not putting the star next to the moon. He then out of frustration *And to my surprise* told Ryan he was stupid and didn't know what he was doing! I shouldn't laugh but Ryan kept laughing and it made me laugh. Then about ten minutes ago Austin was sitting here singing "Mama Mia" (I guess he watched it down with his Nana because both he and Hannah have been singing it non stop!) HE was singing it to Faith and she was just laughing away. I told Austin he has "beautiful Eyes" and he kept saying "No I don't I have cool eyes" Austin is sitting here wanting to play "batman, with a rope with 20 bad guys and fire" Oh dear.

Faith- She loves it when I undress her to change her diaper. She thinks she is going to either get into the tub or eat and sleep on my bed. She smiles and kicks. Faith loves her fingers she is sitting here playing with them. She sure has made a lot of people love her. I am so blessed to have such noble children. I wish they would obey more, but hey I can't complain.

Hannah- On church on Sunday we got out at 2:00 instead of 6:00. She asked why we were going home because it wasn't dark outside yet! She also said something funny to me earlier and now I can't remember dang it!

Life is Beautiful

I have been thinking that I need to start up a positive post each day (Each time I post, or which ever comes first) The best thing to cheer me up is being able to serve others. I would much rather be doing something for someone else then having someone do something for me. I feel dumb asking for help but I also feel dumb when others feel like they can't ask me for help. Sounds a little backwards, I think when we serve , and when there are times we need help,we should also let others serve us. I have had many wonderful people serve me just by being in there presence and allowing me to feel their welcoming spirit! I know many people think fo me and I hope they know I think of them, even if it has been a while since we have talked. I hold onto my past and the people in it, because it makes me who I am today and so on. I love service when you do it secretly so you can reap the benefits of showing love. When I wake up each day I ask God to let me serve someone so that I can be happy. It's my natrual prozac lol. Today I went to help someone (I don't like to say what I do because then that is my glory and I would much rather the glory be love in my heart, because it allows me to be in a better mood.) needless to say while I was doing the thing I was doing for the first time in a long time I sat there and just enjoyed each moment. I saw Austin just play and really watched him and payed attention to everything he was doing. He loved that I was doing something with him too. I didn't have a care of concern on my mind and I just sat there and enjoyed the peaceful feeling that everything is good. I turn on the tv and hear about the bombings with the Gaza Strip and seeing signs that say "Stop Killing Kids" my heart reaches out and I sometimes worry how evil this sick world is. I don't want to waste my time in regret. I want to do the best I can and be the best I can. I am far from it. The real meaning of this life is to love and be loved. I have felt this most recently with all I come in contact with. If I look for the good in everyone then I do feel that warmth and love of Christ that still exsits here on this earth! I can make my home my haven and a place where we want the spirit to be where anyone who comes feels welcome. I think sometimes getting down and thinking of the horror that is all around us, we need to think of ten things for that one bad thing. Whenever Trent and I are talking and he or I say something not nice of another we always say "now say ten things you like about that..." It really does help. I have had a crazy feeling something is going to happen. Trent likes to say I am a doomsdayer. I think with the holidays over you just get kind of down, but I don't have time to feel that way there is too much to be done in a good way! While I was over today I realized that when I am serving others I truly am happy and I no longer feel tired. I get a renuied feeling of energy. If we were to treat everyone as if it was our last time we would see them, how different would we treat others? What things would we miss if our loved ones would be gone? I would miss being in my husbands arms, he makes everything in the world seem to disapear and makes it better. I would truly miss that the most. I love him so much that everyday if he is late I call to make sure he is ok! AFter seeing a friend lose her husband I fear that one day could easily be me. Everyone would try to comfort, but only the arms of your significant other could truly get you through. I would miss the love from friends and neighbors that come into my life and make it great. The talks, the fun, and just being in the presence of others makes me happy. I feel my soul rejoice when I am near them. How sad life would be without good friends and family. I would miss the sense of humor of my siblings, I am so glad we all get along! I would miss the kisses of my children. The funny things they do and say when I am really listening. Now is the time to change to apprechiate all I have in my wonderful life. Life really is wonderful. WE have choices to make it or make it better. I need to stop worrying about my house and the things that I can't fix. I need to just pay more attention to my kids. They are growing up too fast and times fly by so fast. I look back 7 years ago and how much I have even changed. Each day if we ask ourselves " can I do any good in the world today?" and follow that prompting of who we can help your life will become a happier one. I remember one day I got out to shovel the walks and did so for a neighbor, who probably wasn't home. But the words Do unto others as they would unto you came into my head. I looked out my window the next day and sure enough someone had shoveled my walks. It was a deep snow and I had preschool the next morning. I got my boots on about 6 a.m to go do it and my heart was heavy that someone thought of me. So whoever you are, thank you. A little love goes a long way.
People say you gain weight over the holidays. I think you gain weight AFTER the holidays when you have the Bah Humbug Blues and sugar seems to be the only thing that makes it better. Ergh... I haven't posted for a long time and when I do I don't write everything. I have a lot to catch up on but of course that with a million other things will just have to wait because I am lazy.

We had a very Merry Christmas this year. On Christmas Eve we went to my Opa's annual Christmas Eve party. It was great to see everyone! My Grandpa puts a lot of work into it, we love you Grandpa. On Christmas day, after we opened presents we went up to my moms. It was nice and relaxing. We had dinner, played a game, and then we went and saw "Bed Time Stories" After Christmas I have not been feeling too well and I am so ready to be better and back to myself again!!! Here are the pictures, they tell the story better than I can!

Last night we met my family in SLC to go see the lights! It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be. Austin gave a dollar to the scottish man playing the bagpipes. It was cool! We then went into the church museum and we were all trying to prounounce the book of mormon in different languages. One was from "Santa" - You will see what I mean when my sister gives me some of the pictures she took....

TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS,
HE LIVED ALL ALONE,
IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE
MADE OF PLASTER AND STONE.

I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY
WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE,
AND TO SEE JUST WHO
IN THIS HOME DID LIVE.

I LOOKED ALL ABOUT,
A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE,
NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS,
NOT EVEN A TREE.

NO STOCKING BY MANTLE,
JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND,
AND ON THE WALL PICTURES
OF FAR DISTANT LANDS.

WITH MEDALS AND BADGES,
AWARDS OF ALL KINDS,
A SOBERING THOUGHT
CAME TO MY MIND.

FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT,
SO DARK AND SO DREARY,
THE HOME OF A SOLDIER,
NOW I COULD SEE CLEARLY.

THE SOLDIER LAY SLEEPING,
SILENT, ALONE,
CURLED UP ON THE FLOOR
IN THIS ONE BEDROOM HOME.

THE FACE WAS SO GENTLE,
THE ROOM IN SUCH DISORDER,
NOT HOW I PICTURED
A UNITED STATES SOLDIER.

WAS THIS THE HERO
OF WHOM I'D JUST READ?
CURLED UP ON A PONCHO,
THE FLOOR FOR A BED?

I REALIZED THE FAMILIES
HAT I SAW THIS NIGHT,
OWED THEIR LIVES TO THESE SOLDIERS
WHO WERE WILLING TO FIGHT.

SOON ROUND THE WORLD,
THE CHILDREN WOULD PLAY,
AND GROWNUPS WOULD CELEBRATE
A BRIGHT CHRISTMAS DAY.

THEY ALL ENJOYED FREEDOM
EACH MONTH OF THE YEAR,
BECAUSE OF THE SOLDIERS,
LIKE THE ONE LYING HERE.

I COULDN'T HELP WONDER
HOW MANY LAY ALONE,
ON A COLD CHRISTMAS EVE
IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME.

THE VERY THOUGHT BROUGHT
A TEAR TO MY EYE,
I DROPPED TO MY KNEES
AND STARTED TO CRY.

THE SOLDIER AWAKENED
AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE,
"SANTA DON'T CRY,
THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE;

I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM,
I DON'T ASK FOR MORE,
MY LIFE IS MY GOD,
MY COUNTRY, MY CORPS."

THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER
AND SOON DRIFTED TO SLEEP,
I COULDN'T CONTROL IT,
I CONTINUED TO WEEP.

I KEPT WATCH FOR HOURS,
SO SILENT AND STILL,
AND WE BOTH SHIVERED
FROM THE COLD EVENING'S CHILL.

I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE
ON THAT COLD, DARK, NIGHT,
THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR
SO WILLING TO FIGHT.

THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER,
WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE,
WHISPERED, "CARRY ON SANTA,
IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE."

ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH,
AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT.
"MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND,
AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT."

Now that 2008 is coming to an end..

Did you make new friend's and they become some of your best friends?
yes

Did you get into a physical fight with anyone?
Nope

Did you go to a funeral or wedding?
Both, A funeral (always happens when I am pregnant and emotional) and a wedding

Get so drunk that you passed out?
No

Smoke weed?
No

Lost your voice?
Almost.

Had someone tell you that they liked you?
Yeah

How has 2008 been so far?
good, if flew by because I was wishing it away and to be August already! I Was sick because I was pregnant for the most part. Now seeing the snow,it reminds me of my morning sickness. If the kids start watching "Super why" I want to throw up! That's all they pretty much did those days I was sick. After August came, it flew by but thankfully it didn't snow right away! I think next year is going to be an eventful year, good or bad I think it will be different.
"come what may and love it!!!"
How old do you want to be when you die?
Old enough to see my grand kids have kids and to have lived a good life.

Where was your last kiss?
Trent kissed me goodbye before he left for work

How do you feel about love songs?
some are good

Who was the last person to call you?
A medical bill operator.

Have you ever talked on the phone in the shower/bathtub?
I always talk on the phone to my mom when I am in the bath

Where's the person you miss most?
at work

Do you just want to yell in someones face right now?
No

Was today a good day?
I hope it will be

Whats wrong right now?
I am tired, but ok!

What are your plans for this weekend?
Christmas eve party, Christmas day at my moms, a movie, temple square, and then a wedding the next day
Are you dating the last person you kissed?
Married to him.

Do you still play in the snow?
not really, unless we go sledding

Seven days from now, will you be in a relationship?
Yep!

Is it cute when a boy/girl calls you baby?
It can be.

Is there someone that you believe you will always be attracted to?
Yes!

Would you forgive a cheater?
Yes. As hard it would be, as long as they were willing to change then yes. There are only TWO reasons for the "D" word in my marriage ... 1. If there was ever abuse, I would have no choice but to leave. 2. If the other person wasn't willing or didn't want to change, then again, nothing I could do. As long as I can do my part and make something work I will, forgiveness is not bringing it back up in anger so it would be a long time to work on it if I was cheated on, but yes I would forgive and mean it.

Have you ever, in any way, been betrayed by someone you trusted?
"What a stupid question! Who hasn't had that happen?"
LOL Kim, I like your answer so I will keep that!!
Are you mean?I joke a lot, but really I am not mean... not too bad anyways. jk

Where was your default picture taken?
My couch in W.T

Did you date anyone this summer?
Husband count?

Do you trust people easily?
I probably shouldn't as much as I do .. I ran into a con - artist back in College, you think that would be my lesson then!

Whats one thing you wish you could take back?
THe people I could have gotten to know before it was too late. I used to hold up a wall for security so I wouldn't have to get hurt when I knew someone I would meet would soon pass away or leave. Now my motto is "Come what may and Love it!"

Does it matter when your friends bring up your past mistakes?
Anyone who does that with the intent to hurt, has not really forgiven that person then.

Do you sing obnoxiously in the car?
Whenever I sing it is obnoxious!
!

Would you go in public looking like you do right now?
sadly, yes.

Heart of a Hawk

I heard about this book on the Glenn Beck Program. It is about a fallen hero. When he was 13 years old his parents got divorced, and his father had custody. His dad remarried *His step mom is the one who helped write the book, she was on the Glenn Beck show today* Anyways the kid got into drugs and became a heroin addict after his mom passed away when he was only 17. The guy was homeless and stole money from his parents. Finally at the age of 28 he came to his dad and said he needed help. This guy changed his whole life around and went into the armed forces. While serving in Baghdad, he had only 43 days left before he could come home, he saved the people he loved serving with him after being hit. Dr's don't understand how he possibly could have saved them because with his wound he should have died and not have the strength to fire over 500 bullets. He later died in his friends arms. I want to read this book really bad and thought some of you out there may want to know about it too.
