Hannah and Austin are pretty much the same size. I get asked all the time If I have twins. Well now they even look more like twins. Hannah just lost her first tooth (Finally, she is almost 8) last month. A week later, Austin lost the EXACT same tooth for the first time as well Now they really look like twins. It's funny because I had twin siblings and I was 4 years younger than they were. I always wanted to do things with them and of course older siblings didn't want their 14 year old sister hanging out. So, I made a vow that I would have my kids closer in age and they would be best friends. But guess what I created?! Pretty much TWINS who are best friends, and then little Faithy who tags along!! lol

Faith loves to be outside. Every morning she grabs her shoes and coat and heads for the door. She has many tantrums because she can't go outside. She reminds me of Hannah at this age!! Now she throws fits if I put her in the car. If she could, she would run to the park and play all day long. I do however love playing " Im gonnaa getcha" with her and see her big smile. I tried taking some pictures and this is what I got.

I took Austin and Faith to the dR for checkups and his kindergarten physical. We found out he had 20/40 vision and for a kindergartner they need 20/30. I took him into an eye dr to be sure and he is actually 20/40- 20/50 vision. He got to chose out some little tiny glasses. Now he really is going to look like his dad minus the beard. The lady was trying to get him to buy these ugly blue glasses, I was thinking... oh no! Luckily I told him he looked really good in the ones he got! They should be coming soon. Poor kid just got diagnosed with Chronic Asthma which goes hand in hand with his ecxma and now has to take a breather twice a day, then on top of it he has bad vision. .... Ahh the joys of parenthood.

Hannah was student of the week in her class. We made a poster all about her. She helped me glue on all the pictures, and she chose out the ones she wanted. Her teacher and I have been trying to get Hannah to enjoy all day school. Last year she loved kindergarten, I am not sure if it is because she is in the portables, or because two little boys try to tease her (I told her boys will tease her if they like her, she still didn't think it was funny.) Or whatnot but she had been struggling a little bit this year. It has been hard to see your daughter struggle, you just want to be able to pull her out and do everything to make it better. I remember being in Jr. high and HATING It. It wasn't until 9th grade when I started to enjoy school again. I wished my mom had taken me out and home schooled me like my neighbor friend was. It works for a lot of people, but even though I had to go through the crap I did, I honestly think it made me a stronger person. So we decided to help Hannah make new friends, be more vocal to the teacher if there are problems and to stick up for herself. So far she is been doing great. I am glad we stuck to our guns and worked together to make her happy, and she realized that when there is problems she can come to us and we will help HER make the right choices in fixing the problem. While I told Trent we needed to switch classes, he showed me that we just needed to give it time and that she needed to get out of this problem, or she would always think we could run to her rescue on anything. I am proud of her and she has made a lot of progress. She was student of the month in Kindergarten and she was also Student of the Month in first grade this year. I told Hannah if she was good and helped me around the house she could invite some new friends to her own Halloween party. We frosted sugar cookies, did the monster mash, watched the Great Pumpkin, musical chairs, Pumpkin,pumpkin Witch (duck duck goose) and sparkled pumpkins. The kids loved it!

On Friday I went to my mom's house to hang out. My mom watched the kids while I went and got a haircut. We decided to go to Black Island Farms and go on a hayride to get pumpkins like we do every year. The kids LOVED the slides and Austin kept cracking me up watching him have so much fun. Hannah would wait until he came out of the slide ok before she would take a try. We had a great time!!

Last Monday morning I heard Faith screaming in the hall. I ran in there but there was nothing for her to have hit to be screaming holding her foot. I thought it was her ears since she has had an ear infection since August and the meds don't work. She goes in for tubes in two weeks. I held her all day long, rubbing her head just thinking she wasn't feeling well. Later that day I took the kids to Walmart and came home. I put Faith down on the floor and watched her fall, scream, and grab her foot. It hit me that something has to be wrong with her foot. I drove back to town and took her to the dr. We waited for three hours. Luckily they had a tv so the kids were pretty good. Trent of course was out of town working at the MAnti Temple (Doesn't it always happen when the other is out of town?) They X rayed her foot and said she was fine. I Took her home and the next day she wouldn't even crawl. I drove her back in and even though they were a little put out, I made them x ray the WHOLE leg. Of course she had broken her tibia! THey put her in a splint that went up to her diaper. SHe HATED It. She couldn't move, but try to drag her leg with an army crawl. On Thursday we went in and got her real cast. People have been asking me how she broke it. I kept asking my kids if they dropped her out of the crib or something. I Figured that was they only way it could have happened. Well last night we found out how! SHe has learned to get out of her crib on her own. THere is a time out chair under the crib and she must have hit that on the way down. Even with her *cast she tries to get out!!!

Hannah is student of the week this week. We made her a cute little poster and then some fun "Mummy" candy bars where the kids have to guess how many are in the bucket. I hope she has a good week!

Hannah had a good birthday. She helped me make these cupcakes by coloring and pasting the little toppers. She had to be "Princess for a day" in her dress.

10 months

In Faith's ten months of life she has learned to defend herself against her siblings. She has learned to do the dishes. She has learned to drive the car (not really) and straighten the mirror. She has learned to read books. She has learned to drink out of a cup, and graduate from preschool. She met some new friends. She also learned how to play the piano like her daddy. We love you Faith

Happy Birthday Hannah!!

Hannah, I can't imagine life without you. It only seems like yesterday when I was so excited to go to the hospital to have you. I will always remember seeing your face for the first time, when they laid you on my stomach and looked up at me. I kept thinking "This is my baby!" You were so petite and when you started walking at nine months people couldn't believe their eyes. You grew so fast. You were such a daddy's girl and loved having him push you in the swing. You loved dancing around and going to Grandma's house to play with Brinley. Time has really gone by so fast! You now are such a big helper with your siblings. You love your friends and love dressing up! You always have to be entertained and you LOVE school for that very reason! You are a very beautiful girl and I can't believe how fast time really goes by. You are going to accomplish many great things in life, you are so strong and even an example to me, your mother. I love you Hannah Banana! Happy 6th Birthday!

Tomorrow my little girl will be 6 years old!! I can't believe how fast time goes by. I will get more into that tomorrow. Faith is 9 months old and thought I would put up some pictures of how fast she has grown. She loves to eat people food and screams at the top of her lungs if she sees anyone eating and she isn't. She is crawling and pulling herself up on everything. She will walk with you if you hold her hands. As of yesterday, if she starts to put anything in her mouth that isn't food and I say "FAITHY" she holds it out for me to get, as if she knows she is in trouble. She still cries herself to sleep at night but her siblings love to throw things in the crib to shut her up. She says "da da" " ma ma" and I am trying to teach her sign language. Yesterday I was showing her the sign for "Milk" and I swear she looked at me and said "milk" lol. She likes playing Baby bumblebee with the preschool kids and is barley getting that concept. She gets excited when people come around her and play, and if you sneak up on her she giggles and hides her head in your shoulder thinking the person is trying to play a game with her.
