I decided this summer I want to read children's books with my kids and then do a book party around what we learned. For instance I can read them "If you give a mouse a cookie" and we can bake cookies and drink it with milk.... or if I read "Where the wild things are" we can build a fort in the basement and do something crazy. I want simple summer of fun without a lot of money to spend. I think those are the best memories I have of my childhood... doing creative free things around the house/yard with friends and family. If you have any book ideas please let me know! I will post pictures so you can copy if you want. I am not sure how ellabrate or how often I will do them, but even if they are just like the simple things above I think it will be fun.
