Good Things to Come

Pink has a weird outfit, but I love the song when you listen to it. I also love Glitter... GLITTER IN THE AIR.

I have a confession to make. I decided that I love listening to the same music my daughter listens too... yeah the teenybopper music. I love this song as of late:

I am a song/lyric freak among other things. When 'I hear a song, I will always say " Oh, this reminds me of... " Or " I dedicate this song to you..." or even " This song is going to be for...". I love so many different types of music, and a story or memory comes along with each song I hear. I probably dedicate a lot of songs to different people who have affected my life for the good.... and the bad.

Today I was thinking of one of the Beatles songs that I love. It's called " In My life" This song reminds me of my childhood. I lived in the same awesome neighborhood we liked to call " Celestial Street" until I was a Jr. in highschool and then we moved up the street. Where has time flown? It was only yesterday I was young and playing night games and soccer with the little neighborhood boys. It felt like it was only yesterday I finally had some girls move into the neighborhood and they became my best friends. There are way too many memories to recall on this blog, however each person in that neighborhood all through out growing up affected my life in one way or an other.... Here is to them.

Last night we went to the rodeo. We sat by Anderson's and Frost's. Problem was my kids liked it for the first half hour. We ended up staying for an hour and a half and went home. At home I decided I would go jogging. I haven't been able to since I was seriously like 12. I wanted to throw up! However, It's my goal to get in shape this summer so we will see if my lungs can too!!We decided next year when it comes to the rodeo, it will be just Trent and I that go! Afterwards we got in the hot tub and Trent fixed a tv to put in the window and we all watched Sherlock Holmes. All in All I enjoyed this weekend! This morning Austin woke up at 8:30, and my girls woke up at nine! How Nice is that? Ahh if my summer days always go this way....
